Mr. Pancake pt. 2

So I really like Mr. Pancake. Which is why I’ve been going once a week. Which is why I need to split up my Mr. Pancake posts in three. The last one was about the pancakes. This one is about the omelettes.

The omelettes are extremely tender and fluffy, just like the two pancakes they come with.

My favorite is the salmon omelette (48 RMB), which is filled with smoked salmon and creamy cheese (processed, but it works here). I am not a fan of salmon but I love the non-overpowering flavor and firm texture of the salmon in these omelettes.

While the Baked Spanish Omelette (48 RMB) has onions, green peppers, chorizo sausage, and olives, topped with diced tomatoes.

The Chicken Fajita Omelette (48 RMB) includes grilled fajita seasoned chicken breast, onions, green peppers, and cheese, topped with tomato chili sauce.

The omelettes are oven-baked. I think this contributes to the fluffiness.

The homefries are well-seasoned with delightful browning.

Mr. Pancake’s omelette meals are nutritionally balanced, with carbs, protein, fat, and vegetables, while having a variety of sweet, savory, and spicy tastes. A comforting alternative to the sugar bomb pancake stacks.
